Humanists are the worst woke evangelists.

The atheist and "feethought" movement has sold out to the wokeists. Atheism has nothing to do with so called social justice, globalism or communism. Conservatives are going to have to lighten up on Christain Nationalism, God, Guns and anti-abortion to combat the scourge of fascist authoritarianism that is engulfing the world right now. Why criticise any one against wokism? The atheist movement needs an alternative to the poisonous rhetoric that is spreading like red weed across the world.

And? Social justice is cancer. Being anti-woke is just employing critical faculties.

A leftist is NOT an atheist. Just a crypto-theist.

I love being labeled as “crypto” anything! It makes anything sound badass and mysterious. And it makes you sound like a paranoid nut job! Win win!

I bet you have no problem calling anyone smarter than you a fascist, since you have the iq of a frozen fish.

IQ is a terrible measurement of intelligence. And I call fascists fascist. I don’t know you well enough to tell whether you are one or not. You think “social justice” is a “cancer, which leads me to believe you might think it’s ok to treat people from marginalized communities like crap because you can. Which makes you a jerk.

I hate communism for the same reason I hate fascism:

Intellectual Integrity & Logical Consistency.

Bad news, Lou: you're the fascist you think you hate.

You're perfectly okay with fascism as long as it's YOUR brand.

Fascism and communism are both left of my own position,

and they are sister ideologies divided only by nationalism-globalism.

The only reason fascism has worked better than communism is because it

adopts just enough un-socialist traits to allow it to survive, which communism can't do.

The way I figure it, drop all the socialist cancer and embrace full reaction-conservatism: free people, free markets, free speech, free information, and law and order and the constitution (you can't have freedom without borders and law and order).

Law and order, borders, and the constitution are NOT fascism, Lou.

Wake up.

Lou, I totally agree with you about IQ - it's not what its cracked up to be, but you do have the integrity of a frozen carnival stand huckster on meth.

"Everyone I don't like is secretly a theist" is the sort of big-brain take I expect from the ruins of what's left of "New Atheism".

Anyone who doesn't believe than merely rejecting religion makes them smart has moved on a long time ago.

Too bad I was never into "new atheism", either; just logical consistency and intellectual integrity, which you'll never have to worry about.

Socialism behaves JUST like a religious cult, and the resemblance is jaw dropping.

So no, it has nothing to do with "everyone I don't like", but the fact that people with leftist beliefs behave like religious fundamentalists.

Also, nice of you to tacitly admit you're not an atheist.

The presence of Atheists in conservative circles is a welcome sight. Perhaps you are assuming too much in their statement of finding common ground with conservatives “against the new woke intersectional left”. Dissent from certain “antiracist” dogma is not an indication that they agree with racists views held by some CPAC attendees. Boghossian and Shermer also sit on the advisory board of the newly launched Fair For All, https://www.fairforall.org, an organization that has a different approach to addressing intolerance and racism than the kind of divisive anti-racism promoted by people like Ibram Kendi. As you noted, Atheists for Liberty's intentions were also to promote atheism and secularism among conference attendees. Painting them in the light of either “woke” or “anti-woke”, hence either anti-racist or racist, is a false choice.
